This video is pretty much how I spent a good chunk of my day today. This is my first attempt at making something useful in After Effects. Planning on using this during our Sunday morning worship service. Hope you like it!

If you want to help a good cause and get a pretty awesome (albeit possibly controversial) t-shirt. You can check out the shirt and details about getting one HERE.
This is just a little test video I made in After Effects tonight while I couldn’t sleep. I have an idea for a video I want to incorporate into our worship on Sunday morning so I wanted to try part of it to see if it would fit in. Looks like it’s going to!
Andrew Kramer has been a huge help to me in my quest for learning after effects. He has great tutorials (free), some great presets (free) and some great products (not free but well worth the money), if you’re ever wanting to learn AE.
Hope you like this 20 second video (since it’s off YouTube the quality isn’t great obviously). I’m going to bed!
I was at Best Buy (a store I really like) the other day picking up a couple things I needed. As I was browsing around, I had an experience that I thought was note worthy. A store manager of some kind was teaching another employee about the importance of customer service, displays, etc. All the while, I was wandering around that area trying to find an item and could have used some of that same customer service he was teaching. Perhaps it would have been better for him to stop teaching customer service and showcase customer service.
In youth the last couple weeks I’ve been speaking about something similar. You will know a person by their fruit. People can say really loudly that they love Jesus but if their actions don’t point to the same thing, it’s not really true.
Customer service and living for Jesus. Both more than just words.
On Sunday night I had one of the oddest experiences that I’ve had in a while. After youth group, Josh, Sarah, and I went to an ice cream shop and were just sitting around, minding our own business eating ice cream. (Which, makes perfect sense if you’re at an ice cream shop.) We were finishing up when a SUV parked right beside my car and 4 elderly people got out. I really thought that their back passenger door had hit my car when it opened so we all started looking to see if it did or not. Well, the 4 people come in and this old lady comes right up to our table and says, “Could you stare any harder at us? Did we look that funny?” For a second I thought she was joking and then she starting making faces at us and walked off in a huff. We were all so shocked with didn’t know what to do! I was dumbfounded for a little bit but then started thinking what a great blog story this is going to be. Sarah wanted to defend our honor and rip out her throat. I’m not sure but I think Josh was wondering if he could sneak back in line and get some more ice cream.
I pretty much love everything google. I use their email program, search engine, picture search…pretty much everything. I just recently started using Google Docs and, now, it’s just about all I use to type documents.
